PM Modi hit out at the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu, accusing the party of hate politics and of creating divisions. There was a sharp counter from MK Stalin who said the PM's visits to the state were akin to those of a migratory bird. This on a day when the row over the Katchatheevu Island, a tiny island in the Palk strait between India and Sri Lanka, flared once again with the PM alleging that the Congress and DMK had ceded the island to Lanka.
