From refrigerator coolants used to treat birth asphyxia in babies to big data analytics in over 100 of Delhi's mohalla clinics, India's healthcare entrepreneurs are constantly innovating. India spends just 5 per cent of its GDP on healthcare and these creative solutions are the need of the hour. The gaps in the industry are endless where women, the rural population and the perceived lower castes bear the brunt of this inequality. Today, we explore two creative start-ups that are attempting to bridge this divide.
