Laying the foundation stone for the Kartarpur Corridor, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan made a fervent pitch for peace with India. Calling for both countries to end the dispute, Imran Khan said that the Pakistan state machinery, Army and the political parties were all on the same page when it came to the subject. He added that Kashmir was the only issue between the two countries, and it could be solved as well, considering historic rivals were now living in harmony. Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has reiterated an emphatic no to Pakistan's invitation for the SAARC Summit, citing its role in breeding terror against India. This brings us to our debate today. Can India trust Imran Khan's call for peace? Can India take Pakistan's call for peace seriously when it has let the perpetrators of 26/11 roam free?
