Maratha protests over reservations on Tuesday turned violent. In Aurangabad, after a protestor jumped into river Godavari and committed suicide, there were incidents of arson. Police vehicles and fire trucks were attacked. The internet is shut down in parts of the Aurangabad district. Mumbai braces for the worst with the protesters insisting that they will take their protests to India's commercial capital on Wednesday.
