Can the Congress get its candidate into Rashtrapati Bhawan?
Differences surfaced in the NDA today over the President's election with JD(U) openly snubbing the BJP for taking a unilateral decision on the issue. Sushma Swaraj had said on Monday that the BJP would not support Pranab Mukherrjee, Hamid Ansari or any congress candidate, but is open to support APJ Abdul Kalam. The divide in NDA may impact the BJP's plan to install a non-Congress President.
