Captain Amarinder Singh Talks About Stubble Burning And Air Pollution
At the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India 12-hour cleanathon, Chief Minister of Punjab, talks about whether we can expect a better winter ahead this time with less stubble burning in Punjab. The Chief Minister says that there is an alternative to stubble burning and this year, farmers practising stubble burning will be penalised. The Chief Minister also talks about open defecation free (ODF) status of the state of Punjab. He says, 13,000 villages and 167 municipalities have been successfully declared ODF.
