Cartoonist Aseem Trivedi held on sedition charge for 'mocking the constitution'
Kanpur-based cartoonist Aseem Trivedi has been remanded to police custody till September 16 by a Mumbai court for allegedly posting seditious content on his website. The police had arrested Mr Trivedi on Saturday on the basis of a private complaint filed in December last year.
