Cauvery protests hit tourism in Karnataka

Farmers groups and politicians in Karnataka continue to register their protest over the release of Cauvery river water to Tamil Nadu. This release was directed by the Supreme Court and the state government is obliged to comply - but this has not stopped the protests - which in turn have had an impact of their own.
