Decoding Cauvery Water Distress-Sharing Formula
The Karnataka government has said it will seek a scientific distress-sharing formula from the Supreme Court on the Cauvery river water issue. The state government, however, told the court whether such a formula is agreeable to both states instead of the simple pro rata sharing in a distress year.
