The Prime Minister, engulfed by an alleged scandal on irregularities in the allocation of coal licenses, today said, "I am not above the law of the land. If there is anything the CBI or, for that matter anybody, wants to ask me, I have nothing to hide." His comments come as the opposition is demanding that he be interrogated about his government's assignation of two coal blocks in Odisha to a firm owned by industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla.
