CBI probe sought into Orissa riots
Tension continues in riot-hit Kandhmal district of Orissa, where three people have died in the communal violence of the last one week - though some reports say nine people have died. The Centre has now sent in forces and Home Minister Shivraj Patil will visit the state with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh reassuring Christian community leaders that they will be protected.
