CBI to formally object to reporting to new Lokpal
One of the major decisions that the government has to make about the new anti-corruption agency - the Lokpal - is who will investigate the complaints of graft filed by the public. While the Lokpal - an ombdusman committee with nine members - will examine the evidence, it needs officers who will do the "field work."
