CBI under Lokpal: New flashpoint between Govt-Team Anna?
In a major concession in the revised draft of the standing committee, the Lokpal will approve the final reports of the CBI's anti-corruption wing. However, the investigation process will be independent. Also, the Prime Minister may offer his inclusion in Parliament, but with an important rider that he will not be accountable for a Cabinet minister's decisions.
