CBI widens net on corporates
The high and mighty from India’s corporate world are all turning up at the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) door. On Wednesday it was Anil Ambani, on Thursday it was the turn of Prashant Ruia, Group CEO of Essar to turn up at CBI headquarters. Both corporate honchos are currently under investigation for their links to the 2G scam and whether they used front companies to corner 2G licenses.
