Celebrating Satyarthi Movement's Child Stars, Lalita And Jai
Once a child labourer, Lalita Duhariya is now a child leader and has stopped child marriages and child labour in her village. On the other hand, Jai Kumar Poddar used to work at a shop when he was rescued by Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation in 1999. Following this, 9-year-old Jai was sent to Bal Ashram in Jaipur where he completed his studies. Today, Jai is an activist and has rescued over 1,000 children from the shackles of slavery.
