Central Information Commission faces flak
It was with great fanfare the Central Information Commission was launched in October last year, set up under the Right to Information Act of 2005 to make the bureaucracy accountable. But now the commission is in the news for all the wrong reasons – misplacing files and losing data. Former Ambassador to Portugal Madhu Bhaduri says the commission misplaced her file against the Delhi Development Authority, forcing her to start the process all over again.
