Centre can't impose SEZ on Goa: Nath

A day after criticism of special economic zone (SEZ) policies in Goa Kamal Nath, the Minister for Commerce and Industry, adopted a more tame stance on SEZs on Thursday saying that SEZs cannot be forced upon state governments. Goa joins a long and ever growing list of locations across India where the SEZ issue has become a contentious issue. Various companies that have invested in Goa have been caught in the crossfire.
