Centre: No plan to hike coal prices this year

The government does not intend to hike coal prices in the country and wants to maintain rates at the same level this fiscal. "We do not intend to increase prices of coal. The intention is to maintain the prices - there will be no increase this year," Minister of State for Coal Santosh Bagrodia said in Mumbai.
