Centre Grants Rs 101 Crore Relief Package For Manipur's Displaced People

The centre has sanctioned a Rs 101.75 crore package to provide relief to the people displaced due to the ethnic violence in Manipur, a top official said on Thursday. Security advisor to the Manipur government, Kuldiep Singh, said that during his four-day Manipur visit last week (May 29 to June 1), Home Minister Amit Shah had directed the state government to send a proposal to the MHA for a relief package for the displaced people.
