An activist who is helping the family of Chaithanya Kumari, a 20-year-old medical student in Kerala who was allegedly harassed by her hostel warden and who was in a coma for three months before she died, has said that her friends, who were witnesses, have changed their statements.
Shibu Panathur, who also helped Chaitanya get admission to school and college, said that also claimed that the hospital did not pressurise them to withdraw their statements.
Kumari attempted suicide in her hostel last December and died last week after being in a coma for over three months.
