The vaccination drive has finally crossed an important milestone. The number of fully vaccinated people has now surpassed that of partially vaccinated people amid a dramatic slowdown in the pace of the drive. The success is of the government's door-to-door campaign to encourage second dose uptake. But still, the aim of covering 60% of the population with both doses is far off. At the current rate only 37% of the population will be fully vaccinated by the end of December.
