Champions League: Liverpool Suffer Shock Defeat, Dortmund Beat PSG
The knock-out round of Champions League began last week and lived up to the expectations as defending champions Liverpool suffered a shock 0-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid. French champions Paris-Saint Germain travelled to Germany as favourites but lost 1-2 against Borussia Dortmund. The series of shock losses carried to the second day as well as another English side Tottenham Hotspur lost 1-0 at home to Germany's RB Leipzig. Italian side Atalanta, playing their first-ever Champions League knock-out match, thrashed Spanish club Valencia 4-1.
