Changes required in Infra debt fund, IIFCL for long term funding: SREI
The Deepak Parekh committee on infra financing submitted its report to the Prime Minister this week. Hemant Kanoria, CMD of SREI Infra Finance says that a crucial aspect for encouraging infrastructure finance is to improve the enabling environment for the infrastructure sector. He adds that changes need to be made to the Infra debt fund and also IIFCL to draw in long term funds into the infra sector.
