'Strict Action Should Be Taken': Piyush Goyal On Parliament Disruption

Union Minister and Leader of the House Piyush Goyal has criticised the opposition Congress leaders for disruption parliament proceedings. "The Congress stands exposed as a party devoid of any agenda, as a party that does not care for the people of India," Mr Goyal said. Opposition members were seen jostling security personnel in the Rajya Sabha in CCTV footage released today in the middle of an acrimonious standoff that peaked over the abrupt end to the monsoon session yesterday. "They chose to attack the temple of democracy and flung the rulebook on the Chair. Strict action should be taken," Mr Goyal said.
