Cheap Chinese Machine Work Killing Centuries-Old Traditional Zari Work
The once flourishing traditional embroidery work Zari-Zardozi, an ornate style of embroidery entirely made by hand, is in danger. The centuries-old art form is losing out to cheap imitations made using Chinese machines.
