Chennai-Based YouTube Channel Becomes Rs 150-Crore EduTech Startup

A Chennai-based YouTube channel has now turned into an EduTech startup valued at Rs 150 crore. That's the story of Guvi Geek, incubated at the IIT Madras Research Park. Founded by three techies who quit their jobs, Guvi teaches coding online in vernacular languages, empowering and transforming students particularly from smaller towns into employable talent pool. The brand is now set to go global. NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to the co-founders about their inspiring story, vision and message for budding entrepreneurs.
