Chennai gets its own marathon for charity

Following Delhi and Mumbai, Chennai too will soon have its own marathon in August. The city witnessed a curtain raiser run along the Marina beach. On August 31, the city will witness a 21 km run. The first prize will carry Rs 10 lakh. The aim is to inspire over a lakh people to run and already there is excitement among Chennaiites.
