Chennai's 200-Acre Perungudi Dumpyard to Turn Into A Lung Space
Even as the global community meets in Glasgow in a bid to bring climate change under control, in Chennai, a massive 200-acre dumpyard with thirty five lakh tonnes of legacy waste dumped over three decades is being reclaimed through bio-mining to create a new lung space for the city.
