Chennai's Low-Lying Areas Still Submerged, Stranded People Seek Better Coordination
It has been two days since Cyclone Miachung brought 44 cm rains in just 36 hours and flooded Chennai, but the low-lying pockets still remain flooded. Residents are seeking well-coordinated rescue efforts to bring those stranded to safety. Authorizes say about 300 boats have been deployed so far, NDTV's Sam Daniel reports from Chennai's Velacherry.
