Chennai's novel first-aid brigade
Chennai's all woman first-aid brigade has made a head start. Every weekend, 420 of them from a city college fan out into different parts of the city to pass on these life saving techniques to other students. They are adept at responding to emergencies like road accidents, snakebites and asthma. Few months on, and over 2,000 students have learnt the basics of first aid.
