Chennai Super Kings Clinch Third IPL Title By Outclassing SunRisers Hyderabad In Final
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets to clinch the Indian Premier League (2018) trophy on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. With this title, MS Dhoni-led Chennai have now won three IPL trophies. Chennai rode on a stellar unbeaten century by Shane Watson and reached the target of 179 in 18.3 overs. Watson hit his second century of IPL 2018 - the earlier one coming against Rajasthan Royals in the round-robin stage. SunRisers had posted 178/6 in 20 overs courtesy of Yusuf Pathan's unbeaten 45 and skipper Kane Williamson's gritty 47.
