Chennaites Slam K Palaniswami For His "Fend For Yourself" Comment
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami today touched a raw nerve asking Chenaites without piped water supply to literally fend for themselves. He asked apartments to use the service fee collected from residents to arrange for water. Angry residents say "Why collect taxes from us ". However residents say they welcome Tamil Nadu's request to Kerala to send drinking water on a daily basis after the neighbouring state offered a one-time supply of 2 million litres by train.
