Chhattisgarh attack: Security lapses made Congress leaders easy targets?
After the initial restraint demonstrated by political parties, a blame game has now begun on who was responsible for the deadly Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh in which senior Congress leaders were killed. The BJP-led state government has rejected the Centre's claim that security preparations for the Congress' rally from where its leaders were returning, was poor and lacked coordination. The Opposition has also accused the Centre of trying to politicise the issue.
