Chhattisgarh attack: There were security lapses, Raman Singh tells NDTV
The attack in Chhattisgarh may have been led by Katakam Sudarshan, a central member of the CPI-Maoist, NDTV has learnt. According to top Home Ministry sources, Maoists had suffered major setbacks in the past two-three months and wanted to retaliate. They targeted the Congress leaders' convoy because it presented a soft target.
