Chhattisgarh's Maoist-Affected Areas Vote Today In 1st Phase
Voting is underway in the first phase of the Chhattisgarh assembly election for 20 seats, several of them in Maoist-affected Bastar. Over 25,000 security personnel have been deployed in the first of the two-phase election.
