After presenting Delhi's Budget, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said they plan to improve bus connectivity across the national capital in the coming year. "1,600 new electric buses would be purchased this year. Till 2025, Delhi will have 10,480 buses, out of which 80 per cent would be electric buses. For charging them, 57 existing bus depots are being electrified. Three modern bus ports will be constructed at Anand Vihar, Sarai Kale Khan and Dwarka. For the first time in the country, two multi-level bus depots will be made having a six-floor parking area. Two modern bus terminals will be made too," said Mr Kejriwal.
