Child Marriage Is Rape: Delhi Court's Milestone Judgement

Reiterating that child marriage is rape, on June 7, Delhi's Tis Hazari court sentenced a man to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for marrying and the rape of a minor, aged 13 at that time. The survivor was provided a compensation of Rs 10.5 lakh for her rehabilitation.
