Child marriage prevented in TN
Muniasami, a class X student, was rescued as a bridegroom after his father Naguthevar wanted him to marry his older cousin, allegedly to grab the minor boy's share of ancestral property. But a timely complaint by the 15-year-old boy stopped the child marriage. "The property should go to the boy when he gets married. In order to grab that property, the father of this boy wanted to solemnise the marriage with another woman," said N Ananthapadmanabhan, Muniasami's Advocate.
