Children Are The Worst Victims Of The Pandemic: Sharmila Tagore, Actor
Sharmila Tagore, UNICEF Supporter and Actor joined the #Reimagine telethon organised as part of NDTV and UNICEF's campaign, 'Reimagine Our Children's Future' to help India's children affected by the COVID-19 crisis. At the two-hour special telethon, Ms. Tagore talked about how the children have become the worst victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. She said that because children do not have a voice as strong as of adults, their plight does not often take the centre state. She urged people to come together and take actions to protect the present and the future of an entire generation.
