Children of lesser gods
It's a medical emergency in Jharkhand which is quite visible, yet remains largely unaddressed. Sixty per cent of all children below five in the state are stunted because of chronic malnutrition. And the causes remain the same - extreme poverty, poor access to food and lack of healthcare support.
