China has sent a new group of satellites into space on Tuesday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi Province. The satellite was launched at 2:50 AM Beijing Time aboard a Long March-2D carrier rocket. In another development, TikTok has made a last-ditch effort on Monday to keep operating in the United States. The company has asked the Supreme Court to temporarily block a law that requires its China-based parent, ByteDance, to divest the app by January 19 or face a ban.
