China's BYD Sells Over 4 MN Vehicles | Japan's Bankruptcies Set To Hit 11-year High
China's top electric vehicle producer BYD has shown further market share gains, putting it on course to exceed its annual goal. BYD is now on course to beat its annual sales target of 4 million vehicles, more than Japan's Honda and Detroit-based Ford in 2024 worldwide sales. Private-sector data by Tokyo Shoko Research showed Japan's bankruptcy filings this year are set to surpass 10,000 and hit the highest since 2013.
