Chirag Paswan, who recently returned to the NDA fold and was seen hugging PM Modi at the meeting of the alliance led by the BJP, blamed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his exit from the coalition ahead of the 2020 state election. "Only one person is responsible for my exit from the NDA and my return to it. It is our Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar. When I quit the NDA, I never had any issues against the BJP. Hence, in these months, I have never spoken against PM Modi. I was labelled a "bhakt" several times and taunted for this. My issue was only and only with the chief minister," Mr Paswan said.
