Cities 2030: Challenges to housing urban India
Cities and towns in India have been expanding rapidly. According to a report from RICS, India will have more than 87 metropolitan areas by 2031; at which time the country's urban population will be well over 600 million. This pace and scale of urbanization is unprecedented for India. At the RICS International Conference presented by Tata Housing, experts discuss the key policy and governance challenges that add pressure on civic infrastructure systems in urban India.
