"Citizen Journalism Under Constant Threat: Ravish Kumar At Magsaysay Award
NDTV's Ravish Kumar, who won the prestigious Ramon Magsasay Award 2019, delivered a speech on "The Power of Citizen's journalism to Advance Democracy", in the Philippines. In his speech, Ravish Kumar spoke on the threat faced by citizen journalists. "When mainstream journalism can neither support its own rights nor the sheer idea of journalism, citizen journalists and citizen journalism both are under a constant threat," he said.
