Over 20 students have reportedly been injured in clashes with policemen outside Delhi University's Ramjas College amid protests over JNU's Umar Khalid being invited to speak at an event. Some journalists were also caught in the clashes and beaten. The protests began in the afternoon by students angry with the college for allegedly cancelling the invite to Umar Khalid, one of the five JNU students charged with sedition last year, to speak at a session on the "culture of protest".
