The CBSE and ISC Class 12 results are out and the toppers of the two boards have scored 99.6% and 99.5% respectively. Toppers, teachers, career counsellors and other stakeholders debate whether high marks are the only yardstick of success. Has the system become self-defeating with too many high scorers translating into sky-high college cutoffs? Isn't it time we look at life beyond board exams?
