Close contest on cards in Karnataka
One of the most interesting contests in the ongoing Karnataka elections is between two veteran politicians in Shikaripura in Shimoga district. B S Yeddyurappa is the BJP's chief ministerial candidate, who represented this seat in the last assembly. But S Bangarappa, the colourful former chief minister, who is currently with the Samajwadi MP from the area, is contesting against him.
