Cluster development a disaster for Mumbai
It's being called a recipe for disaster. A proposed amendment to Mumbai's development rules that could alter Mumbai's skyline forever. A new proposal to the civic rules proposes to make cluster development possible in South Mumbai. The government has called for the mandatory objections to the new idea, but activists fear that instead of a Shanghai feel to Mumbai, the new plan will only create new models of unliveable vertical slums in the old city.
