CM Rekha Gupta Vows Infrastructure Overhaul In Delhi
While presenting the Delhi budget 2025-26, CM Rekha Gupta vows infrastructure overhaul in Delhi. She said, “... Delhi was handed over to us in a manner in which there was no infrastructure... Our aim is to establish infrastructure in Delhi... Now, Delhi will be discussed but not only for traffic jams... This megacity turned into an anarchist capital because of damaged roads, traffic jams and incomplete projects... More money was spent on national advertisements than government projects...To develop infrastructure for better connectivity with the NCR region, Rs. 1000 crores are allocated..."
